What is Cass Creates?

Cass Creates is a boutique business based in Adelaide, specialising in made-to-order cakes, desserts, and catering.

Where are you located/do you have a shopfront?

We are located south of the Adelaide CBD - pickup details are provided upon order confirmation.

Currently, we only operate out of a small, home-based business and all of our products are made-to-order. All orders should be placed online via our website or socials.

🎂 Orders

How far in advance should I place an order?

For our Signature Range, you can usually place an order 3 days in advance, but it's recommended you place an order 1-2 weeks in advance to ensure you don't miss out.

For our Custom Celebration Cakes or Catering Orders, we recommend requesting an order at least 2–4 weeks in advance. For Wedding Cakes, we suggest getting in touch as early as possible to secure your date.

How do I order a custom cake or wedding cake?

Fill out our Custom Celebration Cakes Form or our Wedding Cake Form to start an order request.

We will then be in touch with you via email to discuss the details of your request, and once you are happy to finalise the order we will send an invoice.

Do you require a deposit?

For custom orders that are booked more than 30 days in advance, we will require a non-refundable deposit to secure the order. Final payment is then typically due 14 days prior to pickup/delivery.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, cancellations or changes are not guaranteed and depend on how much notice is given. Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss. Minor design details are usually accommodated.

How do I order a complimentary cake tasting?

Our complimentary cake tastings are only available for confirmed wedding cake orders once a deposit has been paid. To start an order, fill in our Wedding Cake Enquiry Form, and then we will be in touch with you via email. You can then request the complimentary cake tasting and select up to 4 flavours via email.

🚚 Pickup & Delivery

Do you offer delivery?

For our Signature Menu products we offer local delivery for an additional fee. When you checkout, please check if your address is within the delivery range, otherwise you will have to pickup from Westbourne Park, SA 5041.

For any custom orders like celebration or wedding cakes, we can do local delivery, but we may also offer to deliver directly to the venue depending on our availability and the location. There will be an additional fee to cover the time/distance travelled.

How do I safely transport my cake/dessert?

When you pick up your order, it will be in a sturdy cardboard box. Please place this on a flat surface in your car (in the boot or footwell). You can also wedge a towel around the box so it doesn't slide around.

Once your order has left our premises or been delivered, we are no longer responsible for any damage incurred in transit. Please handle with care and follow our transport guidelines.

How should I store my cake or dessert?

Please keep all cakes and perishable items in the refrigerator (below 5°C). We recommend bringing the cake to room temperature 30–60 minutes before serving for the best flavour and texture.

Once your order has left our premises or been delivered, we are no longer responsible for any problems resulting from incorrect storage. Please handle with care and follow our storage guidelines.

How long will my cake/dessert last?

Our products are best enjoyed on the day of pickup or delivery or within 2 days. After this, the quality may begin to decline, and we cannot guarantee freshness or food safety.

⚠️ Allergens & Ingredients

Do you cater to allergies or dietary restrictions?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that our products are allergen-free. All items are prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens such as dairy, gluten, eggs, soy and nuts.

We can cater to dietary preferences including vegan, egg-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free. However as previously mentioned, since we use the same kitchen, cross-contamination is still possible. We do not claim these items are suitable for individuals with severe allergies or coeliac disease.

What ingredients do you use?

We believe in using high-quality ingredients in all of our products, and sourcing local and seasonal produce as much as possible.

As our products are made-to-order, we use fresh ingredients and prefer to avoid artificial flavours or preservatives.
